Yes, we are by appointment for haircuts and baths.

Most bath appointments take one to two hours. Most haircut appointments take one and a half hours to two and a half hours. Extra large dogs, or dogs who’s coat is in bad condition, can take four or more hours.

No, we do not groom cats. We recommend Suburban Tails in Manlius.

Yes, we require proof of rabies vaccination. Just the tag is unfortunately not enough because it does not include the expiration date. We need a paper or electronic statement from your vet that shows the expiration date. You can bring it with you or have your vet email it to us at theperfectpawsyr@gmail.com. We also strongly recommend, but do not require, that your dog have a kennel cough vaccine. This is because we have several groomers at our facility, so we have many dogs come and go during the day.

Yes! Same day or next day nail appointments are available. All nail appointments also include nail grinding to get a shorter, smoother nail that is less likely to scratch. Please call ahead to arrange a time we can expect you to be sure we get you in and out as quickly as possible. Proof of rabies vaccination is required for nail trimming.
